Absolutely. Our letters are designed to be sturdy on their own. Depending on the letter shape and size, additional weight may be needed to ensure safety. If you anticipate your audience to be interacting with the letters, we recommend adding 10-15 pounds extra to the back compartment of the letters. And, of course, provide supervision to ensure there is no reckless behavior or mistreatment of the letters that puts people in harms way.
Yes, the letters are weatherproof except for extreme conditions such as hurricanes or floods. We recommend adding additional weights to a back compartment we have designed to hold items to weigh down the letters to ensure safety in windy conditions.
In a typical shipment, the letters are loaded onto a palette, include individual slip covers, and other packaging materials that are reusable for returns such as straps and protective exterior materials. We will work with you to find the right delivery service that fits your needs.If you are renting or plan to return the letters, it is the customer's responsibility to reload the letters with the same packaging materials included in delivery so we highly recommend saving all the packaging materials.We also recommend taking photos of the shipment upon its arrival and use it as a reference when reloading.
Our letters are built to withstand normal shipping conditionals however, minor damage of the letters in shipment can be expected. Accidents do happen and we understand, particularly with renting. When you receive the letters, take the time to inspect the letters for damage while the delivery driver is still at your facility so that you can mark the delivery receipt if there is such damage. Document and record for your records. We will provide touch up paint so that you can cover up any visible damage that you do not want people to see at your event. Insurance is available for rentals and can cover any damage for $50 per letter regardless of letter height.
When moving the letters, remove any added weight to each letter and have at least two people lift. You can also use a two or four wheeled flat cart to set the letters on to get them where you plan to set up.
